Re: "Oppenheimer" Reviews Discussion

@natalie I'm curious did the movie have opening credits and when the title card appears? Also, can you please describe the opening shot of the movie in spoiler tag! And how is the ending shot before ending credits, I hope for another iconic Nolan movie ending on this one.

Don't know where to put my own reaction but Oppenheimer is fucking incredible and easily one of Nolan's best.

WOW! I've yet to process it, but I think this is Nolan's most experimental film to date.
How much experimental is on its plot structure/editing compared to Memento and is it easy to follow? Can you share your favourite Nolan's movies top list, please!

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

I hope this is the case. I asked, because I just watch this Youtube video from some VFX artist, and he think there is no way this to be true, but I don't think he clearly distinct CGI from VFX.

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

Is this "zero cgi shots" absolutely true? As I know, DNEG are involved in this movie on some way. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure If there is a perfect movie for Nolan to shoot entirely in camera with practical effects and real sets, this is it.

One thing... the countdown actually counts down to the Trinity Test not the film release date.
Nolan invented time machine and released the film 78 years ago confirmed!

Re: Teaser Trailer

I think in the case of Bane and the pilots in Dunkirk, it's more realistic not to hear every single piece of dialogue in the context of the real world, nor does every piece of dialogue help you understand what you're seeing. You're not going to hear what everyone's saying while there's explosions a...

Re: Teaser Trailer

Keep in mind Nope's actual release date is tomorrow. Today is the "midnight premiere" like the old days but done earlier, so look at the countdown in the context of seeing Nope tomorrow. Maybe but I think it's weird in general because the countdown is going to be confusing on any other day besides ...

Re: Teaser Trailer

I have Interstellar vibes from the visuals. I'm much more hyped now after this!
