I'm sure deepfry3 knows it, but from his post it sounds like they only got to Saturn with Endurance, so I simply added to his post. No need to act like a smart ass here.

Re: A nitpicky observation on the final scenes!
The Endurance was orbiting Earth, and they got to Saturn with it. At the end, Cooper is already on a space station thing right by Saturn. Yeah, but after he goes through the wormhole, he'd still need a massive amount of fuel to slingshot past Gargantua to Edmund's. And what about fuel to get home? ...

A nitpicky observation on the final scenes!
Maybe I'm being too much of a mole here, but... I just want to point out that in a ranger (at the end of the film), Cooper might run out of fuel by the time he reaches Edmund's planet. Because there isn't a space station like the Endurance for him to dock at anymore and refuel. And even if the Endur...

Re: How does Cooper deduce this *spoiler*?
Let's consider the chronology: - Cooper enters black hole - Cooper enters Tesseract. Cooper is confused and unsure how to navigate this new space - Cooper sees his daughter from the other side of the book case, feels despair - Cooper tries to make himself stay, fails. More despair - Cooper and TARS...

Re: What are Interstellar's Flaws?
Maybe this observation makes me racist, but I feel that one of Interstellar's major flaws is the lack of diversity in its casting. It seemed at certain points like it was all about white people crying in space. With a token black guy. Okay, fine. This movie is a little more ambitious: we now have wh...

Re: How does Cooper deduce this *spoiler*?
My theory is that after the "original" Cooper sacrifices himself to save her, the civilization Dr. Bran starts on the new planet eventually progresses (maybe thousands to millions of years later) to 5-dimensional being status. These beings then develop the tesseract within Gargantua which allows Co...

Re: How does Cooper deduce this *spoiler*?
I also think it goes along with the hopeful aspect of the movie. The thought that with all the negatives of humanity, our species can aspire to evolve into something so great that we could bend space and time. So perhaps its less of a plot device and more of a rumination on the potential of humanit...

Re: How does Cooper deduce this *spoiler*?
I feel like Cooper is just taking a stab in the dark more or less. It's not necessarily the truth and I don't feel obligated to agree with him :P I'm not saying Cooper is lying or anything of course, just that it's a theory like any other yet unproven. I guess we can posit that Nolan is introducing...
