Was Cooper Training for the Lazarus Missions?
So I have a thought that has been haunting me for days (courtesy of something I saw on Reddit): Is it possible that the crash at the beginning of the film was a flashback to Cooper training for the Lazarus missions 10+ years prior? That would make Professor Brand's comment to Cooper at NASA (i.e., "...

It takes me back to all the fond memories with you all last year. I will always remember how excited I was driving (speeding) home from the museum in Austin...

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread
I've lost count of how many times I've seen Interstellar (I know it's at least 10+ by now), but I still don't get tired of it. Watched it again today, and this particular shot stood out to me. It could just be Nolan & Hoyte being playful with the camera, but perhaps there was a reason for this pecu...

Re: Alternate Timeline???
Just got back from "Beyond the World of Interstellar". The film featured extended scenes, including the notorious hand-in-hand shot, the extra wormhole shot from Trailer #1, a PG-rated love scene between Cooper and Brand, an alternative ending showing the Cooper flying into the atmosphere of Edmund'...
