Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation

Is Tenet the scapegoat of 2020? Sorry, I'm really sick about american's journalisim. I think people are sick of it (and Nolan), especially after the quadrillion articles written about the film. Human nature to want the to see the "big guy(s)" fail. I saw a lot of the same with Tarantino last year. ...

Re: Tenet User Reviews/Reactions [Possible SPOILERS]

It’s such a shame but I think Denis Villeneuve has overtaken Nolan as the best blockbuster director in Hollywood. Incendies, Prisoners, Sicario, Arrival, Blade Runner 2049 and now Dune. Denis knows that you live and die by your characters unlike Nolan. Sorry but Incendies, Prisoners, Arrival and Si...

Re: Tenet's Cinematography

Well, Tallinn has a lot of scenic places, but Nolan chose the most generic ones possible. It’s just the aesthetic that they wanted to go with I guess. Sorry if our country looked shit and basic, it’s really beautiful if you don’t count the soviet era buildings and architecture. Your country doesn't...

Re: Tenet Reviews/Reactions [Possible SPOILERS]

with respect, this isn't true. User ratings for Prestige are glowing (4.1 letterboxd, 8.5 IMDB, 92% on Rotten Tomatoes) compared to Tenet's tepid reactions (3.6 letterboxed, 7.9 IMDB, 77% Rotten Tomatoes). All they share is a Cinemascore. -Vader Fair enough. On a user level the reception is very di...

Rotten Tomatoes too.
Interstellar has a lower Tomatometer right now at 72% versus Tenet's 74%, but 50% more reviews and a higher average score. They have an equal critic rating.
I mean RT audience not cirtics. 77%.

Re: Tenet Reviews/Reactions [Possible SPOILERS]

For those interested in this kind of thing, Tenet is officially the worst rated Nolan movie on Letterboxd only after Following and Insomnia. And for what it's worth, I'm seeing it a 2nd time this weekend in 15/70, and the theater is shockingly empty for many screenings. -Vader Rotten Tomatoes too. ...
