Deadline dropped a casting bombshell this morning in an exclusive report that Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon are joining Christopher Nolan’s increasingly impressive Oppenheimer cast. They’ll be joining Emily Blunt as well as Cillian Murphy, who will be starring as scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer. Just who exactly RDJ and Damon will be playing in the film is unknown at this time. Nolan previously worked with Damon in the 2014 sci-fi epic Interstellar.

Oppenheimer is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.
