This past weekend the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences presented this year’s Scientific & Technical Awards, aka the Sci-Tech Awards. At the ceremony, director Christopher Nolan accepted the Merit Award on behalf of film lab technicians who have built and operated film laboratories for the last 100 years.
