The Second Full Length Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk is Here!

UPDATE (5.15.17): We’ve updated the story with the new IMAX version of the trailer, which is presented in the 65mm aspect ratio of 2.20:1 and appears to have a slight color grading adjustment.

We’ve had a week worth of teases leading up to this, but now the “Official Main Trailer” for Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk is here! Quite different from most trailers, especially most third trailers for films, most people have compared it to the 5-minute Prologue released with Rogue One and Kong: Skull Island. It’s a tense and heart pounding 2½-minutes, but it focuses on survival rather than story. Because of this it has received a neutral Trailer Shield rating, for those of you cautious about spoilers. As always you can head over to our Forums to learn more. Dunkirk swarms theaters and IMAX on July 21, 2017.

We got our first look at Dunkirk with the “Announcement” trailer back in August, but now we have our first trailer with some meat on its bones. It has a neutral Trailer Shield rating, for those of you curious about spoilers. Last week we reported a rumor that a 5-minute prologue for Dunkirk would be screening in front of IMAX showings of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. While there has been no official announcement yet, screenings in the UK have already taken place. You can head over to our Forums to learn more. Dunkirk swarms theaters July 21, 2017.
