The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray Announced for December 4th

UPDATE (10/2/12): A The Dark Knight Trilogy box-set was recently announced by Warner Bros. for release on December 4th. It will be available in both DVD and Blu-ray options, and will feature 5 discs in total, as well as The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy book.

Entertainment Weekly broke the news of the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray/DVD release and Limited Edition Combo Pack. The film will be released in various formats and variations on December 4th. The Combo Pack has some spectacular packaging that includes a sculpture (so-to-speak) of Batman’s broken cowl. It will be jam-packed with special features, including a documentary about the Batmobile, a featurette called The Journey of Bruce Wayne, as well as Ending the Knight — an in-depth look featuring about 17 featurettes at how Nolan and his production team made The Dark Knight Rises.
