It was about a year and a half ago when Hans Zimmer and Reality Jockey teamed up to make Inception – The App, an augmented reality application for iOS devices that transforms the world around you into a dreamworld using music from Hans Zimmer’s score to Inception. Without much surprise, Zimmer and Reality Jockey have joined forces again to create a new app that transforms your world into Gotham City, this time using Hans Zimmer’s score to The Dark Knight Rises.
The The Dark Knight Rises Z+ app is available as a free download via the App Store and iTunes. In addition to feeding you real-time augmented sound through your headphones, the app also includes new and exclusive music from the movie, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes commentary with composer Hans Zimmer and director Christopher Nolan.
