On Monday, August 17th, Inception will be filming around the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, a bridge that crosses the Seine River in Paris, France. Scenes will likely involve Ellen Page’s character, a graduate student studying in Paris. Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael Caine are also likely to be in the shoot, since they were both present for filming that took place at the University College London library that was altered to imitate the Bibliotheque of the Ecole de Architecture in France. We are also suspecting that Joesph Gordon-Levitt will be a part of these scenes too. He’s been tweeting in French.
Once filming in Paris is complete, the global production will move on to Los Angeles in early September and Calgary in November. Â Filming will also take place in Tangier, Morocco sometime before production wraps in December. Posted below are some photographs of the Pont de Bir-Hakeim.

We are receiving reports hinting that Christopher Nolan’s next film, Inception has begun filming at University College London (UCL).
The film crew for “Oliver’s Arrow” today invaded UCL’s Wilkins building to film some scenes in various locations within the Main Library. Michael Caine, Leonardo di Caprio and Ellen Page were on location filming scenes in what had been dressed up (with fake signage) to be the “Bibliotheque” of the “Ecole de Architecture” in France.
From what we’re been able to hear so far, there was a scene being shot in the Flaxman Gallery (a section of the Main Library on campus) with Leonardo DiCaprio’s character being introduced to a graduate student named Ariadne (possibly Ellen Page) by Michael Caine’s character. Apparently, DiCaprio’s character had a job offer for her. We’ve also heard that some other scenes were being shot in a lecture theater, a reading room, and some other locations inside the Main Library.
Michael Caine looked like he was playing a similar character to the one he always plays lately, Ellen Page looked like a plucky young student, and Leo di Caprio just looked moody and “focused” (toying with the toothpick-in-between-the-teeth look).
The last part with the toothpick made me laugh. It’s a lot of information here and we’re fortunate for DivisionofJoy posting it on the IMDb forums. So, what can you guys make of all this? Let’s hear some of your comments!

Sir Michael Caine recently spoke with InContention.com where he confirmed that he will have a small part in Christopher Nolan’s Inception. We reported at the beginning of the month that Caine might have a role in the ‘sci-fi actioner’ when the reknowned actor jokingly stated
“I don’t think [Nolan]‘s going to make a picture without me.”
After a couple weeks of waiting-on-end, Caine spilled the beans to Kristopher Tapley of InContention.com, saying “I have a little part in it, yes. Just a tiny part. Chris and I are very good friends so I’ll do that little part. I think I’ll work about three days. It’ll be extraordinary, wait until you see this one. I think if I say another word he’s going to kill me!”

It appears that Sir Michael Caine and Christopher Nolan have become inseparable. MTV Movies Blog reports that Michael Caine might have a role in Nolan’s upcoming film Inception.
“I think there might be a part for me,” Caine told MTV News. Caine appeared as Alfred Pennyworth in both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, as well as Nolan’s Oscar-nominated film The Prestige.
Asked if he thought he would cast in Nolan’s latest movie, described by Warner Bros. only as “a contemporary sci-fi thriller set within the architecture of the mind,” Caine gleamed with optimism.
“I could well be, yes,” the Academy Award-winning actor stated. “I don’t think [Nolan's] going to make a picture without me. I will know this week if I’m going to be in it,” Cain said.
