Production Update #6: Storming the Beaches

While the film’s production has kicked into high-gear, the news concerning Christopher Nolan’s Inception has been unusually quiet for the past couple of weeks. But on Friday, October 16, 2009, Christopher Nolan, the cast, and crew of Inception has been spotted along southern California’s beaches. Malibu to be precise.

UPDATE – October 19: Inception’s production has moved back to downtown Los Angeles. The gallery has been moved to the full story page and more images, including 12 from today’s shooting, have been added.

Images from Inception Filming in Paris, Explosive Updates

As we had previously announced, Inception is filming in Paris today around the Pont de Bir-Hakeim. We have obtained six photos of the shoot. Leo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, and Marion Cotillard are pictured here, as well as, Christopher Nolan, Wally Pfister, and a few other crew members. Whatever they were filming earlier today, it looked as if there were a several extras involved too.

Update: Excitement was turned up a notch in Paris today as Chris Nolan and his crew filmed an scene involving explosions and flying debris. Ellen Page and Leo DiCaprio were on set for the scene.

Marion Cotillard On The Complex Secrets Of ‘Inception’

MTV’s Josh Horowitz recently sat down with Marion Cotillard to discuss her upcoming role along side Johnny Depp in this summer’s Public Eniemes, but more pertinent to us, Christopher Nolan’s next film, Inception. She wasn’t able to reveal anything we don’t really know already, but she did have some nice things to say about director Christopher Nolan.â€œ[Nolan] is so interesting,â€ she said. â€œHe writes his own scripts. He seems to be, from what I saw and what I read, so rich inside. Heâ€™s got so many things to say and share and heâ€™s a very, very smart guy. Cotillard, Page, and Murphy look to join Inception

Warner Bros announced that they are in talks with Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, and Ellen Page to join the cast of director Christopher Nolan‘s next film Inception. It was announced last month that Leonardo DiCaprio has already been set to star.

Although details on the plot of Inception have been kept under wraps, some info is becoming available. DiCaprio’s character is supposedly a CEO-type. Cotillard will be playing his wife, and Ellen Page’s character is said to be DiCaprio’s sidekick who happens to be young college graduate student.
