The Dark Knight Rises and Chrysler will be teaming up to bring you the “opportunity of a lifetime” with their Imported From Gotham City TV spot contest. It calls for contestants to create a TV spot featuring the two iconic brands for a chance to win it big. The winner will get a trip to Hollywood to produce his or her spot alongside a professional editor. After that, they will travel to NYC to attend the red carpet premiere for the film! And like the Design by Humans contest earlier this year, director Christopher Nolan will be personally selecting the winning entry! There is also a chance that the winning entry will air on national TV as an official spot.

Design By Humans is asking for fans and designers to create t-shirts inspired by The Dark Knight Rises. The top 3 winners will be chosen by none other than Christopher Nolan himself! This contest is a fantastic opportunity for all of the talented designers and artists who submit to our Fan Art Roundup articles to get their designs seen by the Art Department at Warner Bros. and The Dark Knight Rises filmmakers.

From the top 10 finalists selected, the top 3 winners will be chosen by The Dark Knight Rises Director/Writer/Producer Christopher Nolan and Producer Emma Thomas. Collectively, finalists will have the opportunity to win up to $12,500 in prize money for their winning t-shirt design, with the top prize being $3,500.

The contest is free to enter and will run from now to April 11th. Voting will end on April 22nd, and the countdown for the Top 5 winners will begin on April 30th. Learn more about the rules and guidelines at the Design By Humans contest page. Good luck to all who enter!

Inception

Inception Comic Cover Art Contest [UPDATED]

[UPDATED - The winners have been announced. Check below.] The nice people over at deviantART are holding a contest to create a cover for The Big Under, a graphic novel which serves as a prequel to the film, Inception.

All of the entries will be judged on technical skill, appropriateness of the work as a comic book cover, and visual interpretation of The Big Under. 15 semi-finalists will be selected by full-time deviantART staff and from those 15, the final 3 winners will be selected by the writer and director of Inception, Christopher Nolan! The prizes for the first, second, and third place winners are listed below.

Check out the contest page over at deviantART to download a script of the comic and stills from the film as well as a template for creating the cover. The contest runs until 11:59:59 PST on December 28, 2010, so get those designs cooking!
