Nolan’s New Film Reportedly Seeking Thousands of Extras, Filming in Estonia

A couple of Estonian outlets are reporting that Christopher Nolan’s Upcoming 2020 film will be shooting in Estonia this summer and is currently seeking thousands of extras. Locations included in these reports include the Estonian cities of Tallinn and Narva. In addition to these reports, Estonian film studio Allfilm posted a casting call (pictured below) on their Facebook page looking for men and women aged 18-70 as background actors for a “big blockbuster” movie, but Warner Bros. has not confirmed whether this was indeed for Nolan’s project.

Jennifer Lame Hired as Editor on Christopher Nolan’s Upcoming Movie

For the first time since 2005’s Batman Begins, Christopher Nolan will be using a new editor: Jennifer Lame. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lame (Hereditary, Manchester by the Sea) will take the editing post held by Oscar winner Lee Smith for the last 15 years. Smith, who won an Oscar for Dunkirk, will be working on Sam Mendes’ World War I epic releasing this Christmas titled 1917.

Christopher Nolan’s Upcoming Film Rumored to Shoot in Italy

According to Italian news outlet Positano News, Christoper Nolan’s upcoming film will shoot on location in Ravello, Italy. Located off the scenic Amalfi coast in southern Italy, Ravello is the first filming location that has been reported with some credibility. The publication states “the director has visited the city of the Amalfi coast to explore its most characteristic corners and identify possible film sets.”
