It just worries me that the director/writers have never done a drama or a character study film and have basically only done gross-out comedies.

War Dogs was great. Todd Phillips is indeed a talented filmmaker.

My bad. Forgot about those. And
War Dogs is still a comedy. Just concerned for the film because the tones they appear to be going for are such a drastic reach from what the filmmakers are used to handling.

This isn't a Holocaust drama.
Phillips and his sensibilities appears to be just right for this particular interpretation.
