Following-He breaks linear narrative. (#1)
Memento-Combines #1 with a Complex Plot (#2) and Twist (#3).
Batman Begins-Combines #1 with the Blockbuster mentality (#4), and Ensamble Cast (#5).
The Prestige-#1, #2, #3, and #5.
TDK-Combines #2, #3 (sort of), #4, and #5.
Inception-Combines all of them.

I haven't seen Insomnia, so I skipped it.

then it wouldn'be much of constructing with every film would it?, Insomnia uses some flashacks to, but is not like he uses every technique he used in the previous film for the next one, in some movies he has applied inventive ways to tell the story, and he has used practically every technique in non linear narrative, he has invented one with Memento...

I am not just saying that all he does is keep on giving us the same techniques, no, he gives us the same ones, and adds another layer to them.
