Yeah I just watched this again. It really is a marvelous film. It has some problems (continuity, mediocre acting), but that can hardly be helped with such a small budget and the way it was shot. The dialogue from this film is the best Nolan has written and the whole script is extremely well put together. Great film.

the actors themselves were not in fact, professional actors, so i wouldn't be too hard on the acting part ;)

That's why I said it couldn't really be helped. He got very good performances from people who didn't make there living acting, but they still weren't the best.

The actor who portrayed Cobb did an amazing job...
on the contrary the protagonist didn't impress me.. Theobald wasn't bad, but as the protagonist I think he should have had more charisma.

However he's the one who worked most with Chris.. well, actually after sir Caine now..

The movie really is great. Its inspiring for any struggling filmmakers. I think the most impressive thing is that they just used available light while filming. If you try to make a movie you will see how much of a bitch lighting a shot can be!
The original concept for the film was to make a movie about a man who wants to fight God.

I managed to get it on DVD and I watched it yesterday, it's quite awesome for what it is. Typical Nolan style. I realy liked it, if only it was longer.

Hello! I saw the movie tonight for the first time, that's great! I'm Italian and the DVD is not available in my country, I bought it but the DVD comes directly from London and I was really happy because Following is fantastic and I really love Christopher Nolan!
Sorry for my imperfect English!

Finally saw it today on Netflix... thought it was Nolan's most personal and intimate film to-date, a little more so than The Prestige

I've seen it and it is amazing for a film with virtually no budget. It also has great special features including a commentary which is really insightful. I found it on ebay and i highly recommend that all Nolan fans see his debut. It is a truly original piece of work :D
