Of course, but you have to understand that if he tops Inception it really would be amazing for someone like me. TDK used to be my Fav. Film, till Inception, and if he can do another one like that.

I agree, after BM3, I would like a few small-scale films. Then hopefully he can go back to making a few big-budget blockbusters.

I consider myself to be a movie lover, I have seen heaps of movies and the fact that I'm a film student too helps me see movies with a more open perspective, I've seen Inception more than once now, I had a crush on it and I thought it was the instant chock what made me feel this way, I watched it 4 bloody times for god's sakes and beyond what anyone could say, the voice inside my mind tells me is his greatest film, same way it happened with Memento even after I watched The Dark Knight.
Inception achieves and at the same time exposes the core and true purpose of filmmaking, it's just unbelievable.
I don't know if Mr. Nolan can top this masterpiece, I can't tell right now.
All I can say is that I'm actually scared to see what this man is capable of as an artist.

I think the fact that Inception is so complex, and has just such an amazing ending, stimulating the mind and all makes it the Best Ever. Can it be topped, well Nolan has been able to top himself before, but I don't know if he could ever produce a film that lingers in your mind for so long, not just because it is awesome, but because you are wondering about the ending.

dude, and is not only about the ending but about the insane amount of suggestion that he builds during the entire film, the whole set of rules that he exposes so we can be the first to brake with our conclusions, just like Cobb Nolan tends to go beyond his own rules to achieve something big and paradoxical that leads us to that amazing ending, I'm the kind of guy who appreciates art left to interpretation, in music, in films, sometimes it doesn't work, but Nolan makes it work, it's a movie that leaves a lot to your faith, what kind of person you are, what you believe may define Cobb's fate within your own mind but never as an absolute giving the fact that everyone has it's own fate and perspective in life.

Regardless if you think it is, Nolan still continues to improve as a filmmaker and I look forward to what he does next, but I'm gonna let this soak in for the next 2 years, till well...you know.
