The movie itself was great, despite some irregularities I thought and still think the ending should be ranked Top 5 greatest of the past 10yrs.. Anyone else agree or am I about to hear a shit storm because this movie isn't liked by everyone?

I like this movie too. Not one of Mann's best by any means but enjoyable nonetheless. The ending as you say is fantastic, loved the choice of music.

Now that I watched it again, I think this is MUCH better written than Insomnia, but not better acted. I still enjoy Insomnia a little bit more, but that could change with multiple viewings of both.

Absolutely brilliant film. Won Bin's acting was out of this world. One of the most heart wrenching movies I have ever watched.
