That didn't actually happen in the movie, did it? Would've been a cool and subtle foreshadowing of her stabbing of Batman. I can see that not finding it's way into the final draft in a PG-13 movie.

Actually i think that did happen in the film. It's been a couple weeks since I've seen it but i vaguely remember that happening.

As the others said, it did happen in the movie. It's very quick. The prisoners charge into the cell, Talia stabs one in the back, then Bane scoops her up and carries her out.

Speaking of Bane and Talia, love the shot in the flashbacks where he's holding the child in his arms, trying to comfort her.

I posted this in the Bane thread but since it also has to do with Talia, I thought I'd post it here, too.

This is a passage from the novelization of TDKR, from the big reveal scene toward the end with Bane/Talia. I wish this would have been in the movie. I wonder if it was shot but then edited out.

After Bane is rescued by the LOS in the flashback:

Bane balanced atop upright wooden poles as the League's brutal instructors battered him with hard oak staffs, trying to knock him off his perch. Bare-chested, the scars on his back a visible reminder of his past, Bane dodged and deflected the blows, refusing to fall.

A crude mask--an early prototype--hid his face.

With pride, Talia observed Bane's indomitable spirit, yet Ra's turned away.

This site already knew she was playing Young Talia al Ghul before the film was released. She let the word slip in an interview.

It was kinda a bummer to know one of the big twists in the movie.

Why was that not in the film? Why? :(

I thought the cackle she gives before her death when explaining how Fox showed her the emergency flood was a tad creepy. Then she went and ruined it with the dying scene.

To reference the scar, in case it hasn't already, Bruce is rubbing her back and his hand moves towards it although he is not looking at it and she subtly pushes his hand away. So he didn't know about it.
