Also loved the scene between Blake and Gordon when they watch Bane exposing Harvey's crimes.

I totally felt that way. Some very odd choices in this film. I am not saying the movie is terrible but sidelining Gordon being that he has played such a massive role in the previous films seems very amateur.

The whole Blake thing felt so forced to me. In hindsight we really could have done quite fine with just Kyle being the sole new character and Blake being left out.

I think the film would have been trimmed down and more satisfying without Blake.

The only explaination I have is that Nolan had a hard on to shove something "Robin" in the film and Blake was the outlet

Oh.

Well then poor Gordon.

Nah, his reaction to it insists he's suprised. He got the message.

I loved how Gordon realized Batman was Bruce. Funny he remembered what he said almost 30 years ago

I thought Gary Oldman did a great job in this one, much more emotional and meaningful though I did love him in Begins and TDK.

His TDK performance is still the pinnacle, but he brought some Smiley into this performance which I loved.

Gary Oldman was fantastic in this film. He is a very consistent actor, I don't think I have ever seen him have a bad performance. He is one of the best actors to have never been nominated for an Oscar.

In this film you could really tell that he was immersed in the role of Gordon.
