Christopher Nolan For Making A Bond Movie?

Maybe it's just me but Michael Caine should play M because if this movie gets made, he's likely be 85-86 years old and the role of a secret agent may be too physically demanding. As the leader of MI6, it may be a better fit.
I also wonder if when Nolan will take the franchise, he will completely departure from previous installments. I'm pretty sure we'll have a new Bond, but will he keep M
potentially Ralph Fiennes replacing Judi Bench in Skyfall
and Q (Peter Whishaw who's only 31, so he could keep the role very long)
I understand people who wants Nolan to have complete control on this but I think he needs to respect the franchise

If Nolan does a Bond film within 5-6 years, look for Hardy or Cavill to be cast as his Bond. Maybe Fassbender, but by the time Fass might be considered to old...but who knows.

I told you guys Nolan would consider doing a Bond film, it just depends on whether or not the Broccolis will allow Nolan enough freedom to tell "his" version of Bond. Which I assume would be more of the 3 dimensional scarred psyche Bond like Flemings books.

Would you prefer a Nolan adaptation of one of Fleming's books (which one?) or a whole new original story for Bond? I want original

Original story with some influence from some of Flemings books.

Nolans Bond will come down to Hardy, Cavill or Fassbender being cast.

Write that down! 8-)

Pearce or Murphy would be great Bond villains...without a doubt.

Well that depends. If he is to direct the next Bond film, which it sounds like he would be game for, than it would still be Craig because he's contracted to do at least one more. There's also been talks about Craig signing up for 4 more films. There is a good chance that wont happen, but it's not outside the realm of possibility. Craig is the most well received Bond by the majority of people since Connery probably. He also said he would love stay on board for 4 more.

Tom Hardy would be a great Bond, definitely, but I would love for Nolan to work with Craig and I see no reason why he shouldn't.

If Nolan does get the chance to direct a Bond film, he either has to keep Craig or hire an actor who's rather unknown. Hiring someone like Fassbender or Hardy would have gotten me excited probably Two Years Ago, but they're becoming so well known in Hollywood now that it would be very unusual to see them in such an iconic role. Craig wasn't well known before he was Bond, Brosnan wasn't well know before he was Bond, neither were any of the other Actors. That's what is so great about casting Bond; you have to be very selective and know you're making the right decision.

Hmm....I was thinking this last night while sleeping. If Nolan direct a Bond film,is he really going to use a music theme for the main title like every Bond film!?
If he does....that would be like.....not bad but kind of weird for Nolan films.

And funny thing is that Nolan used music theme at the credits for Memento and The Prestige.

I agree it's kind of cheesy but in Casino Royale I really loved it when it started right after the gunbarrel sequence...it can work if Nolan can find the right song
