I saw that, and it is entirely possible. I really do think, like I said on the last page, that this is one tagline used for marketing. It is easy to forget that most people don't follow this stuff like we do. Most people won't consciously realize that this is by the same director as Inception, or even think that this is the same team that made The Dark Knight. I hope I'm wrong, I really do.
"The Legend Ends" just refers to so many things...
Bruce possibly dying
Batman hanging it up for good
Batman's 8yr. period of rest ending
Gotham peace time ending
Harvey Dent's facade being made known
The legend of Batman as a murderer ending
Gordon being shooed out
The end of the trilogy as a group of films
All contradicted by the Dark Knight "rising." It really is a perfect marketing scheme. It gives NOTHING away.
