Under $300? Damn that's gonna be hard. I highly recommend saving up for a T2i or T3i. DSLR Video is the way to go these days, but then you have to worry about lenses....

My first camera buy was a T3i and I have gotten so much better with it. You just gotta keep filming. It is a buy that won't disappoint because you can't get better video quality unless you have a Red.....
