It's really impressive how theatrical Hardy's bane is considering he is not a frenetic character like the joker

Even though Im not into comparing Ledger and Hardy or Bane/ The Joker..I would like to go back and watch TDK and view the very first time that the audience sees the joker, I would love to review the music, the setting, and everything else and then compare it to when the audience first sees Bane ( of which we all have yet to see) Im curious and excited to see how Nolan and everybody introduces him...I would love to do this not because I want to compare the two, but Im more interested in observing how the music and everything else sets up each individual character with their part in the story:-)

Of course he is theatrical. Even through all the Nolanization he is still a comic book villain. This entire trilogy has been theatrical.

It's only a spoiler if you haven't seen the prologue. And if you haven't, fuck off (directed towards everyone).

Ummm... we're first introduced to Bane in the prologue... just like we were first introduced to the Joker in the prologue... and prologue rips are everywhere... so...

If she could, she would go back to the first screening of the TDK prologue,( study the audience, music, ect.) and then go back to the first screening of TDKR prologue and do the same thing to fairly compare the two. At least, that's what I gathered.

I took it as the moment in the film, not the audience reaction to the moment in the film. Mainly because the audience reaction to both will be the same- dead silence and intense vigilance to the screen, but also because of the below quote. Could be wrong, though.

Im more interested in observing how the music and everything else sets up each individual character with their part in the story

You know the grammar in your writing is bad when people have to analyse it, lol.

may i ask why? i dont really get why many are reluctant to do so. it will be an obvious and logical comparsion.
it seems to me that many love hardys bane already that much that they wont even admit the possibility to stand in the shade of ledgers joker in the end.

dont get me wrong. i like bane from character, design and vibe already more but after watching TDK again and again its always fascinating how high ledger set the standard for a villain in every aspect.
