Henry Cavill as James Bond? I hope that's a joke.
Nolan's the kind of rare director who can not only make awesome, huge-scale, mass-appealing movies, but can make deep, emotional awesome, huge-scale, mass-appealing movies.
Not to mention since Begins he's changed the way blockbusters are created. His films noticably affected the way big summer movies are made no less than THREE TIMES.
Begins: Popularized remakes/reboots, brought a dead film franchise new life.
The Dark Knight: Proved a deep, moving story could be present in a superhero movie AND make a shit ton of money.
Inception: While not necessarily the film itself changed, the promotion of big action films seems to involve a lot more loud 'bwaams' then they used to since Inception popularized it.
I'm hoping to god TDKR's affect will be popularizing IMAX.
