How Early Will You Go?

TDK was crazy as fuck. I got there an hour early and the line was longer than Ron Jeremy's you-know-what.

I plan on at least 6 hours minimum before showtime and hopefully my friends will join me asap.

Well, we're doing the marathon so not sure how that affects how long we'll be there. All day perhaps :-D

Wait- but if someone does the AMC marathon, dont they "get in" when the marathon starts? Because theyre in the theater all ready. It would be amazing if someone could explain this whole process too me, extra points if you can get the word "poopbutt" in your explination.

Assuming that it goes the way it did for the Marvel Marathon -- after The Dark Knight there will be an hour intermission before The Dark Knight Rises begins. Meaning, (as you mentioned) you're already in the theater and got your seat. So while those losers were waiting in line for The Avengers, I was already seated (then again, I'm the loser for paying $35).
