Tom Hardy as Bane

A lot of directors add incredible amounts of details to costumes and sets to set a mood and let your imagination fill in the details. It's kind of like method acting, when an actor creates incredibly detailed pasts to characters to better add detail to them. Much of the Joker was unexplained, but Heath's acting and the script was so well done that you can fill in the blanks.

I don't think they will be deeply explained either, maybe lightly touched on.. it's just that my mind is very analytical and deep thinking, so Im naturally curious on this portrayal of Bane. Loved the link you posted, btw:-)

I don't think Nolan would make a mistake of just letting anything be posted without his consent, was this shot in the Empire magazine? Im not sure where the shot came from, so maybe it was shot from a fan, which would explain the reason that it wasnt edited :-)

When the official still of that photo was released, the mic was erased.

Wasn't somebody arguing about the shot in the trailer being the one where Bane throws the pieces of the photo? Looks like they were wrong.

If I'm not mistaken, I think that's actually some fan art with the Harvey Dent picture pieces photoshopped into a pre-existing image. We know that happens during this scene, I just don't think it's this shot or the shot from the trailer.

pick one:
-troll and trying to get a rise
-making a joke.
-can't tell that the image is clearly, terribly photoshopped.

i thought the picture was a joke the first time i saw it, as someone's signature.

I'm confident that Bane's gauntlet is for more than just looks. He wears stylish coats but he's wearing them primarily because it's winter. The guy is a utilitarian type described as always ready to fight. He's not throwing a gauntlet on one arm for show. He's not doing it.

I'm not saying this is what it is because I don't know but I'd love to think it's for falconry. I mean the guy is a militant leader in a war zone. I think there would be much benefit to having a bird to be able to survey the area.

No we haven't seen the bird. But that is something they'll probably just cgi as to not have to go through the process of training a bird. Plus they would either need a double skilled in falconry or teach Hardy and that would take too much time.

Wrong. He has one in the comic books, it's a clever nod. And guy has satellite equipment, he doesn't need a bird. Enter: Batman's EMP device.

Look the bird is just wishful thinking on my part. But you aren't reading the post. That gauntlet has a purpose.
