It is logic. How many films have cross 534m? Two and soon to be The Avengers. The Avengers just had the best Monday drop of an May film since Spider Man 1 back 2002. Avengers is a beast and it make more than 600m. I am thinking around 660m.

What really matters is that TDKR turns out to be the film event of the year, box office be damned.
Even if it doesn't have a stronger weekend opening than The Avengers, it will have a longer theatrical run.
That is a guarantee.
"All you care about is money ... Everything burns."
TDKR will make an exorbitant amount of cash, regardless of if it breaks any box office records.
The film itself and the experience are what matter most, not usurping The Avengers global take.
But that's just me, folks.

To be honest, I don't really care how much money it makes :-D Of course I hope it won't be a big flop since I don't want Nolan to lose his title (The Governor) in the industry, and I don't want studios to be disappointed in Nolan. As Big Bad Harv said it right, it will make a lot of money - maybe not as much as Avengers, maybe not as much as TDK, but it will make enough money for Nolan to make the studios pleased. All I care about is the quality of the movie, and I'm sure we won't be disappointed regarding that. It don't have to beat all the records in the history of filmmaking to still be (one of) the best movie(s) of the year.

TDK had summer so people were not in school. Avengers has one best drops during the school year.
