Waiting Online for TDKR on Opening Night.

Navy Pier has reserved seating, so I'll likely arrive to the theater around 11:30. Around 9 we'll convene at my girlfriend's, she lives in the middle of the main bulk of people going. Soon after we'll meet at Portillos, a popular/iconic Chicago restaurant that "specializes" in beef/hot dogs/burgers, etc. It's incredibly delicious stuff, we've eaten there prior to every Nolan IMAX showing thus far save TDK.

I'll probably be wearing fitted black cuffed jeans, winkle picker boots, dress shirt, vest. Gotta dress to the nines for incredibly important events, musn't we? I'm considering donning something more similar to Nolan though, just for fun. We'll see. Going with a group of 20+, and a lot of those are bringing another friend or two I don't know. One guy is bringing another 5-6 people. We'll nearly take up an entire IMAX row, assuming we all get tickets on time (which is unlikely).

Gunna be the night of the year.

Wanna hear my sad little story? Premiere date for TDKR is July 26 here in Croatia. My only shot is July 24 on Pula Film Festival (if they manage to get the damn copy). Still, 4 days or 6 days of wait, I'll be doomed, probably lock my NF account.

The same here. It's released July 26th in Germany. I know that sounds bad, but it's nothing compared with TDK when it started 5 weeks after the US release. I won't be on Nolanfans after July 19th until I have seen TDKR myself. It can even be that I have to wait a week or two longer, because I was planning on first seeing it in Berlin in one of our few IMAX theaters, but I don't know exactly when we'll get there.

TDKR will debut on 19th July in my country, and it will be a scramble to book the tickets by the time cinemas starting to accept bookings :roll:

wow it seems like everybody has already planned their evening out. There will be about 3 or 4 of us going. we'll probably go to the hard rock for a meal before since its in the same building as my IMAX. Then get to the IMAX an hour or so early and i'll probably wear my prologue tee. This is going to be my first midnight screening so i don't really know what to expect. its going to be a night to remember though i'm so excited!

I would wear my exclusive Bane t-shirt I got from the Prologue Screening, but alas, it doesn't fit. So maybe I can find a shirt TDKR shirt online that fits. Will be wearing one of my Joker beanies for sure(Need to release a Bane one, lol.), course, I always wear one of my Joker beanies. It'll probs end up being my mom and myself going, just like it was with TDK.

They're showing them at Melbourne Mueseum Imax, they showed the prologue there too
