Yeah, while Duncun Jones, Edgar Wright, Ben Affleck and Rian Johnson are going places, I can't see them veering off from thier genre.
Andrew Dominik will be unique and quite interesting to watch as his carreer progresses.

I don't know about Duncan Jones. I really liked moon, but Source Code was nothing special. I liked it the first time I saw it, but it left no impact on me and when I tried watching it again it was just rather boring. It's too early to tell. I'll consider Source Code perhaps a classic sophomore slump at this point. For new coming sci fi directors I'm definitely more excited so far about Neil Blomkamp at this point.
