i think we have a confirmation of Bane trying to recruit Bruce

when Bane says "your punishment must be more severe" Bane looks and sounds betrayed...as if Bruce took the opportunity Bane gave him and backstabbed him

I think at first Bruce will be locked up in a general Gotham prison by the rich...Bane will break the prison, along with blackgate...all of those men are to be indebted to his cause forever because he freed them...

Batman comes back and fights Bane...Bane demolishes him...removes the mask, sees that its Bruce Wayne, a man he freed....he feels betrayed so he locks him up in the pit

That would actually give Bane some well-needed human characteristics and emotion.
"My good man, did you simply get carried away with your dramatic gesture, or are you pointing your weapon at me with lethal intention?"

i don't see how he sounds betrayed at all

I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain

I'm confused? Why would Bruce be locked up by the rich?

Confirmation is a strong word. That line could mean so many things. Suppose he is talking about crimes against the LOS. Or even defending a city like Gotham one that LOS labeled irredeemable. If Bane is LOS then Bruce has indeed already betrayed him.

Or maybe Bruce stole Bane's last cupcake. In which case I side with Bane

?

well, there is social class tension...according to Selina Kyle in trailer 2, the poor feel they are oppressed by the rich "there's a storm coming, you and your friends better batten down the hatches"

Bane appears at the football stadium and tells Gotham lower class to TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR CITY

that's when the riots begin, with all the poor attacking the rich.....if you've been following spoilers, you know that the rich get locked up

but Bane is still going around recruiting people...he's breaking prisoners free

well, i'll tell you why that doesnt make sense

if Bruce fighting crime in Gotham is a crime against the LOS, then every civilized citizen in the city who follows a code of morality and law is committing a crime against the LOS

if thats the case, why is Bruce being singled out as deserving a MORE SEVERE FORM OF PUNISHMENT??

you see?

being Batman doesnt add up to the weight of Bane's punishment. Bruce must have done something personal to disappoint Bane.

It makes sense for Bruce to be locked up by the poor. But you said he would be locked up by the rich? Probably just a typo

Thats what I was confused about.
