I'm not exactly excited for The Avengers, but the reviews so far are overwhelmingly positive. So JUST going to see the trailer won't feel like a waste of money if Avengers provides mild entertainment, too. And speaking of reviews, I've been wondering when the first ones for The Dark Knight Rises might trickle out. Looking back to 2008, I noticed some early reviews for The Dark Knight arrived June 25 (Rolling Stone), June 30 (IGN), etc., and that came out July 18. So while we're still 3 months away from release, it may be closer to 2 months until we have our hands on a review.
