You know Rise is in the title right? Bruce is gonna be in full beast mode by the end of the film.. and prob end up being in the best emotional state of his life.

This is what I'm hoping for/expecting.

Him realising the true nature of his duty and being able to fully be at peace with it.

So Chris Nolan, the king of complex psychological thrillers, who said he thought of the ending for the trilogy from the very beginning, thought "I want the story to begin on a note of hope, and end with like a fairy tale"

Bane is going to lose... The film will prob have a very uplifting ending for Bruce. I'm sorry this isn't The Awesome Hardy Rises.
The original concept for the film was to make a movie about a man who wants to fight God.

I think we will see Bruce at his worst in this film. Beyond beaten down. He looks piss scared when Bane is talking to him in that second preview.. but he's going to come out of it all much stronger then he ever has before. I think he will be in the best mental state of his depressing ass life by the end of the film... he may also be beat to shit tho. No way he will die..

who knows tho

So the "Rises" part of the title is just there for kicks? It has absolutely zero significance?

I think it will overall have a happy ending, just not in the way we think about happy endings. The Dark Knight MUST rise, because it's in the title - the question is: what does that mean for Bruce Wayne?

I never said that. The Dark Knight Rising is not necessarily directly related to Bruce Wayne's well being, that is all.

A film called MLK Jr Rises would not end with him having peach cobbler with his wife....he will be dead...but it doesnt mean the title is irrelevant...it is completely relevant
