Fact: When Tom Hardy was in Pittsburgh filming Batman, a friend of a friend waited on him in one of the upscale bars in the city. She wasn’t expecting much from him, since she had had a disastrous encounter with Christian Bale earlier in the summer (long story). However, she was pleasantly surprised when he went out of his way to treat the bartenders and waitstaff with respect and took pictures/talked pleasantly with fans when approached. On top of that, as he was leaving, he bought everyone in the bar a round of drinks and left the staff an enormous tip. Basically, Tom Hardy is everything good in the world.

I believe that Christian Bale isn't an asshole, but he sure comes across as a borderline-asshole quite a few times in videos I've seen of him. There are some people out there that won't get him and may think he's inconsiderate of their feelings...If I were an actor I wouldn't say shit like "why do you want my autograph, why do you want so much from me, I'm just an actor"...people may not be as enlightened in philosophy, or awareness but damn I'd respect people's feelings and not say shit like that. I'd be like "thank you...appreciate it. have a good day," and move on. I'm sure he doesn't act like a "semi asshole" alot, I know he's a good guy.
