What do you wish for Chris to do, but what do you expect?

Another book, The Island of Doctor Moreau, is something I would love Nolan to tackle. But, alas, just like The Man in the High Castle, the budget would probably be very high.
Sergeant Hartman: Oh that's right, Private Pyle, don't make any fucking effort to get to the top of the fucking obstacle! If God would have wanted you up there he would have miracled your ass up there by now, wouldn't he?!

I wonder if he'd like to adapt The Inverted World. Would be one helluva challenge.

I finished reading it just a few weeks ago. I have no idea how they would make "Earth", though.

You know what would be every harder but even better if it was to succeed? .........Dune. 8-)

OMG DON'T GET ME STARTED ON DUNE. :tooexcited: :tooexcited: :tooexcited:

On a more serious note: adapting Dune on screen in a decent way is close to impossible, considering the complexity of the story and the profusion of characters with such subtle personalities. As a huge Dune fan, I think that if Nolan had to make a film based on one of the books, then Dune Messiah would be definitely the best choice. Because the plot, despite all the philosophical aspects of the story, is still easy to handle compared to the God Emperor or the Heretics, and would be still entertaining for the audience. But of course, it would be very hard to do achieve such a film.

Also, the cast would've to be perfect, cos you don't fuck with Dune. 8-)

Yes, Dune Messiah is probably the easiest to do out of all the six books that were written Frank Herbert. All the philosophy might not be the best for a mass-audience, though, the ignoramuses that have not read it yet.

Which ones? Masters, Tanks, or Dancers?

Well they can look like anything, so, I don't think appearance is a matter. But, my, they could look hilarious!
