I'm really excited to see what Pfister can produce. For awhile I thought his success was in part due to being apart of the Nolan team, but after seeing his work on Moneyball, I'm convinced he can step outside the Nolan circle and do great things.

It'll be cool to see how his directing style is affected by his cinematography style, and vice versa.

imagine all this time Pfister was the reason why Nolan's films have been so good? lol

Cause I really dont like how Nolan cut the Batman films and Inception...but I love the visuals and what the actors did in them.

If it's successful and he continues soon we'll have to say "I can't wait for another Wally Pfister film". that'd be awesome. The guy really made his career shooting erotic thrillers and now he's the most sought-after cinematographer out there. i hope he'll get to be a good director as well.

It'll be interesting because some directors are very hands on with the camera and it's framing/composition (James Cameron), where as others are more trusting of their cinematographer. It'll be interesting to see whether the framing of Pfister's film is similar to Nolan's, which would indicate Nolan is a more hands off director.

I can dream. ;)

Neat! I'd go out of my way to see a Pfister film.

It would be hilariously brilliant if Pfister tried to hire Nolan for cinematography.

Hahaha, but Pfister is still superior to Nolan.
