I definitely think John Blake will be Nolan's interpretation of Robin. It'd make sense, and allow Nolan to incorporate a famous Batman character into his film. It is the finale, so why not? If Nolan can have BANE in his film after the way Schumacher butchered him in BATMAN & ROBIN, why not include Robin? Haha it's also fun to think about what would have happened if Christian Bale had been cast as Robin instead of Chris O'Donnell (Bale was runner up I believe). Regardless, John Blake sounds like a cooler character already than O'Donnell's Robin (Sorry, Chris).

But what if John Blake actually replaces Bruce wayne as batman? on the one hand it would make sense because Nolan's batman is a symbol but on the other hand I think Bruce wayne should be able to defeat bane as batman by himself if he wants to overcome that last obstacle.
