Game of Thrones is very much inspired by reality. Some deviations may take hold, but it still looks and feels real, and not "magical" at all in any Unicorny sense.

I didn't think it would be, can't wait it just looks so awesome. Buying it on Blu-Ray and enjoying it Spring Break!

Florence + The Machine are my new favs for months now, to hear them in the background of my favorite series... Daumn.

This show is sooo cool. The RPG game for this also looks like it's going to be really awesome, too (playing as a Red Priest = WIN). I don't like Joffrey though, but I didn't like him in the books anyways, so it's more the character annoying me than the actor (apparently, he was also the kid from the Narrows in Batman Begins).

Also, Alan Taylor is apparently going to direct Thor 2. That's.....interesting. I liked the episodes he did a lot, and I guess it'd make sense if they're aiming for a more fantasy angle. (EDIT: And the dialogue and pacing is being rewritten by Robert Rodat, it seems. Surprising 180 for Marvel. )

It's really nice to see the books getting a big boost because of the series too. All in all, really awesome.
