I don't get what you mean, but I agree with the last sentence.

It was too short, didn't allow from much drama as say Mask of the Phantasm or Under the Red Hood did, everything felt too choppy and it felt like I was actually reading a comic book because it lacked perspective. Comics don't put you into the shoes of a character, they don't have to, they show you the action unfolding from a 3rd person point of view. In a film, you have to be put in someone's shoes, there has to be some enhanced perspective, but the movie didn't feel like it had this. That's why the concept works better as a graphic novel rather than animated on screen.

I agree, but IMO I didn't have to be put in shoes of a character to enjoy this film. I like MotP and UtRH MUCH MUCH MUUUCH better, but I still like this one. I was pleased with it and I liked it more than the others.

Warrior - 8/10

Solid overall, but vacillates between highs and lows too frequently. Needed more Hardy and Nolte and less cheesy family drama.

The Ides of March

Good political thriller. Great cast too (forgot to add Philip Seymour-Hoffman and Paul Giamatti in my favorite actors list). The first act was a bit slow for me though. At first, it looked like it was gonna be one of those "political games" films that only american audiences can relate to, but once the plot thickened, it got very interesting. George Clooney is improving as a director.

Loved the scene when Hoffman gets in the governor's car and that's all we see of their conversation. Great ending too, but IMO, it would be better if Stephen didn't look so depressed for what he did. I'd prefer if he had a cold, determined look, like he was accepting his new role in politics (like Michael Corleone becoming the new Godfather).

I don't think he was

accepting his role. The way I saw it, I think the last shot was ambiguous, it shows you that he has a choice between telling the truth on camera or just lying to cover it up, and he is very conflicted.
