Composers You Wish Nolan Would Work With?

Haha, Teddy I see your point, but I sort of disregard most choices, I dunno.

Still, I suppose they could adapt, and TDK and Inception have loads of electronic work. After all, stretches of Tron's score seemed almost too close to Inception's. It's just an undefinable tonal quality, I dunno.

I said Daft Punk first. :x

And I think that Daft Punk could pull it off.
If you hear the guitar chords in Dream is Collapsing and then listen to Aerodynamic (amazing song btw) by DP, I see it could work.

I think Hans Zimmer is already a perfect choice for all his movies.

James Horner

Some very beautiful soundtracks. I believe a collaboration between Horner and Zimmer would be perfect for the rumoured supernatural thriller from Nolan.

Probably. But Danny Elfman would be nice. 8-)

Seems like Steven Wilson (of Porcupine Tree) would be interested in working with Nolan:

A couple of directors I would love to work with are people like David Lynch or Christopher Nolan. I’m kind of hoping that one day that I will get the opportunity to do that.

And in case you've never heard of SW or PT:

Hans Zimmer is one of the best film score composers of our time. His collaboration with Nolan is just perfect, so I'd like to see more of that. Another great choice would be Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Road to Perdition, The Shawshank Redemption).

I'd really love it if Nolan worked with Giacchino. I was hoping he'd end up doing the score for The Man of Steel actually, but it'll probably be Tyler Bates who gets that gig.
