Catwoman and Bane Themes

Post TeddyBlass January 19, 2011, 4:20 pm

Who's creating which theme?

In BATMAN BEGINS, Hans and James created much of the musical world hand-in-hand. Hans focused more on Batman and James more on Bruce.

In THE DARK KNIGHT, Hans created the theme for The Joker while James developed a theme for Harvey Dent/Two Face that was based on a previous theme in BEGINS, one that I refer to as the Becoming a Hero theme.

So, for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, who's scoring what?

Although at first I am inclined to think that James would score Selina Kyle - not only because of stylistic choices, but also a possible character connection to Bruce Wayne - I am starting to think that Hans is too flamboyant to not want to jump all over such a character.

I have a feeling that Hans will do something like "Why so serious" for Bane in TDKR.
"Why so serious" was simply genius.

Thanks Teddy for moving the discussion here; it was getting buried in the other thread.

If Bane is going to be more physically and intellectually intense, I would hope for the theme to be deeper/heavier than what we got for the Joker. I would like a duality in the theme too, since physical strength and intelligence very rarely co-exist naturally in an individual.

I also wonder how much of a latino background Bane has, and how much of that are we going to get on screen to merit a track number.

I think JNH will get Catwoman, although I would like to hear Hans' interpretation.

Do we know who did what tracks in the previous scores?

Catwoman and Bane Themes

Post Peace August 23, 2011, 3:23 am

I hope Bane has something way different from The Jokers theme...
The original concept for the film was to make a movie about a man who wants to fight God.

Catwoman and Bane Themes

Post Threshold April 26, 2012, 10:57 pm

Well, now that JNH isn't doing any of the themes, Zimmer's doing all of them! So will the Catwoman and Bane themes differ? Will they even have themes?
