He should just upload it to 123movies already. He's blue balling his fans and Twitter gets more and more annoying each time he does.

He would have done it already if it was possible. I would like this film to be out in the open already just so that the toxicity can die down, but I'm sure it might make some fans go even more nuts by demanding that WB let Snyder continue his 5 film arc. Never happening nor should it. Just release it and close the book on his era of the DCEU.

Snyder is incredibly polarizing on this sub but I would hope we can all agree that any film maker having their work destroyed like this is unjust. My optimistic outlook is that Snyder is marketing the cut while negotiations are ongoing in a forward direction.

Yeah I agree that his vision shouldn't have been butchered like that, but at the same time I'm getting annoyed with him too.

He's constantly dropping teases and tidbits and it seems like he's egging on the movement. Meanwhile, the trades haven't even said or reported that Snyder has met with WB or tried anything on his part to help get his vision released. Right now it just feel like a gross exploitation of his fanbase. Snyder gets to sitback and chill while the fans embarrass themselves on Twitter and Reddit (it's gotten so bad on Reddit that other DC centric subreddits have removed DC_cinematic on their related subs list).

And I'm saying this as someone who enjoys his films. The whole situation just doesn't sit well with me.

The trades have been misleading too though. Over the years the narrative of the cut's existence, budget, cast, etc have been slowly getting proven wrong. I can't tell what's true or false but Snyder showing off a locked 35MM cut of the film when the trades swear its a fable is him taking control of the narrative.

He is egging on the fanbase by getting them involved and creating more toxicity, I agree. It's a catch-22 in that how can he have negotiating power if he can't prove that this film is wanted by a good number of people, not just domestically but internationally too. (example of Ryan Reynolds in support of the SC at CCXP)

This has been going on for over 2 years, and WB is not an ideal position as this movement has not slowed down at all. Really think just dropping it on HBOMax is the best idea but they stand more to lose if they release it.

Has Cavill given a shit yet, lol. Doesn't seem that he's particularly fond of that cut. I'd be surprised if he is.

The latest picture Snyder shared of Superman in the black suit is photoshopped. Certainly brings into question the other pics he shared now.

He's shot a whole new movie and has like at least two other projects in pre development but he stays baiting for attention. Take Elsa's advice and let it go bro.
