What about A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood? That one feels pretty Oscar baitish and it has excellent reviews on top of it.

that'll get nominated probably, but many feel it's too minor for a win

The most likely BP nominations so far would be:
- Joker
- Marriage Story

There are also some which might still get there but I can't be sure about any of them:
- Bombshell
- Jojo Rabbit
- The Irishman
- Waves
- A Hidden Life
- Queen and Slim
- 1917
- Just Mercy
- Little Women
- The Two Popes
- You Are My Friend
- The Farewell
- Ford v Ferrari
- Uncut Gems

And some genre films with an outside shot:
- Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
- Ad Astra
- Avengers Endgame
- The Lighthouse

I wanted to add Us, because of Jordan Peele's appeal but unfortunately there is no momentum for this movie. I would have put Parasite here, but let's be honest, it has no shot for being nominated for BP at the Oscars. Am I missing something?

I feel like Parasite has a very real chance of being nominated for Best Picture as well as Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.

Oh shit, I haven't. There's only a handful of them but they're pretty brutal.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is a front runner to get nominated. It has a better chance for picture nomination than Joker, which could just been seen as Joaquin's showcase.

Also, unless Irishman is a complete dog, it will get nominated. It will be interesting if Netflix can get multiple pics nominated. There maybe resistance to doing that by old school voters.

Yeah. Joker has an outside chance at a nomination, but it's not in the 10 most likely at this stage of the game.

Hollywood is the frontrunner to land a BP nom. Likely director. It will probably wind up being one of the most nominated movies this year given all the below the line stuff + screenplay.
