Looks like The Witch. Isn't the story always titled as Hansel & Gretel? Any reason for the reversal?

Considering the fact that Gretel basically saves the day in the end and has a more active role, what is odd is that it wasn't always titled as such.

so like i don’t care about the order of the names but i just realized it is easier to pronounce hansel and gretel and not the other way around lol

and it's pretty good. doesn't have the confident direction of a vvitch but if you're thirsting for more new-old horror (i am) this is worth a watch. lots of novel visuals / production design that kept me goin
