very hard to tell rate or order following,begins,prestige,dark knight,memento but that just shows nolan is just that awesome..
insomnia was not that great in my opinion....i made the mistake of watching a shitty movie called 'righteous kill' a week before insomnia...it ruined insomnia for me...

I think Memento and Inception are definitely his two best films. If I had to choose, I'd say Inception because its the more original idea executed in the more eye catching way.

Haven't seen Insomnia yet, because I can't find it in ANY shop! And I'm not a fan of buying off the Internet

1) Inception - Nolan's best, his most original idea, perfectly executed.
2) Memento - Incredible structure, compulsively watchable.
3) The Prestige - Nolan's most 'complete' film, plays out on such a grand scale, needs to be watched twice!
3) Batman Begins - I prefer it to TDK, Bruce's growth story is awesome and Liam Neeson is mesmerising.
4) The Dark Knight - Absolutely amazing, but a tad overrated perhaps?
5) Following - Was surprised how well this was made for being Nolan's first feature film.
6) Insomnia - Better than I thought, Nolan's 'worst' but still better than your average movie and one of the best crime thrillers i've seen.

I love The Prestige, much love for it, but I think his bigger Blockbuster type films (The Dark Knight, Inception) overshadow The Prestige because they are bigger, and have more action and what not. But The Prestige is a masterpiece, freaking love it.
