Bucky was more worthy from a narrative perspective and he’s a character most people care about a lot more...and Steve does too..it’s quite obvious. Hate to agree with Skyab but it doesn’t feel quite right.
One of my favorite things here is the contrast of Thanos between IW & Endgame.
Best way I can describe it is we got 'Lebron-returns-to-Cleveland' Thanos in IW versus 'Young Lebron' Thanos in Endgame. The wisdom, sacrifice, and passion from the weary Thanos vs ambitious, overzealous, and brash Thanos was dope. Thought it was fantastic that we had two versions of him in this story. Russos did a great job overall
Doesn't this film sorta nullify the effect of Civil War?
Like, what Zemo did to split the Avengers is hardly addressed in this film
I mean I guess it makes sense if the stakes are higher, but still, it's like shit dude that was the most compelling storyline in the Avengers and it was sorta ignored altogether

The whole reason Thanos wins in Infinity War is because the Avengers are split up.

This is correct. Not to mention
the animosity between these characters at the beginning of the movie. It's directly addressed.
