I knew it. I just knew it.

I think that's totally unnecessary. I mean, it's a massive disaster, yes, but the film has nothing to do with it and doesn't deserve to be pulled off.

Well not that it's a problem for them now that they have a loadshit of other problems but yeah, they've always been so dogmatic about some stuff and so totally rediculous and 'free-spirit'-like about other stuff.

Did the government pull it or did WB pull it?

Well I think WB pulled it after being advised/told so by the government. I find it hard to believe they'd pull it without anyone telling them to. It said it's been pulled off not banned so it should be some kind of agreenment.

ah tehre it is

it says

Warner Entertainment Japan Inc. official Satoru Otani said theaters would stop showing the film

I think that it is in fact inapropiate to show that movie in Japan. I believe it is a good thing that they stopped it. I can understand that people say 'it is a movie, why stop it?', but it is just hurting people who have lost someone last friday. They didn't ban the movie, they stopped the screenings. Perhaps after a few months, they are able to release the DVD instead.

It happens a lot of time. I remember that "Phone Booth" release was delayed in US because there were some killings due to a sniper. In Belgium, some theaters refused to show the film "Unstoppable" because there was a train crash the same year.

I don't think its a big deal. It's not banned or anything.

I think it's fair. It's like showing a movie about an airplane highjacking the day before the 9/11 attacks.
