IP ?William Blake wrote: ↑December 27th, 2018, 7:30 pmI honestly think he’s doing an IP. He did two for himself (Interstellar, Dunkirk), now I think he’s gonna do one for WB, something that can make TDK trilogy money. That’s my best guess, an IP filtered through the Nolan aesthetic. I’ll watch anything he puts out regardless. I’m there opening day.

Intellectual Property = IP, like Batman.

I personally would believe that Nolan's next project is about a porn star than about Superman lol.
Wanted to comment on the "he made two movies for himself (Interstellar & Dunkirk) and his next film is for WB. He made them billions with the TDK trilogy and Interstellar & Dunkirk made them millions of revenue so no, please no IPs for now.

Don't worry, it won't be an IP, if he devoted himself a year(maybe more) to a script, it's a story he had in his boxe of projects and he wants to tackle on his own.AhmadAli95 wrote: ↑December 28th, 2018, 11:01 amI personally would believe that Nolan's next project is about a porn star than about Superman lol.

He doesn't necessarily have the greenlight to do whatever he wants. I think that's a myth. You're only as good as your last big success (in the eyes of the studios, not us), and he hasn't reached the same numbers as Batman since 2012 with Rises. That's going on 7 years now.
This isn't MY opinion, mind you, but it's definitely how studios think. Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott, Ron Howard, Robert Zemeckis... These guys ALL have had problems getting projects off the ground in their later years. None of them have carte blanche to do what they want. Nobody does. Not even Kubrick or Hitchcock did.
I think an IP makes total sense. "One for them."

If we want to speculate on the list of IP's that WB owns, here is that list. And keep in mind, Nolan probably isn't leaving WB. So it was an IP, it'd be one of these.
(Humor me here. It's just a list. I'm not saying Nolan is going to reboot Scooby-Doo, lol.)
DC Comics / Vertigo Comics
Harry Potter / Fantastic Beasts
Lord of the Rings / The Hobbit
The Matrix
Blade Runner
The Conjuring Universe
Stephen King's The Stand
Stephen King's The Tommyknockers
The Exorcist
Ocean's 8, 11, 12, 13
Mad Max
Lethal Weapon
Scooby-Doo
King Kong / Godzilla
LEGO
Inception (potential for a franchise, imo)
Final Destination
In my opinion, the most logical options are DC/Vertigo, The Matrix, Inception 2, or something by Stephen King (especially with the success of IT).
