I'm disappointed that there's been no mention of Chicago (I don't think, anyway). I mean: New York, England, Pittsburgh, Romania. I want Chicago back! Anticipation is growing...

Chris honestly likes Chicago, so if they don't go back there, there must be a serious reason for it.

Yeah. I love Chicago too, it was shown off well in The Dark Knight. Loved it in Batman Begins as well. If he doesn't use Chicago I'll be partly disappointed, but as long as he can pull of Gotham's modern look at other locations (like New York) then I'll be happy.

They will still probably wind up filming there. The city would be stupid not to let them film there revise that tax credit issue.

I would be disappointed if they don't film in Chi Town as wel....but if they don't, then they probably want to have a slightly different look for Gotham this time around.

“A movie production asked Pittsburgh Public Schools to arrange for some of the district's closed school buildings to be made available to location scouts from a film company. Obviously that filmed turned out to be THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Tours of four closed elementary schools were given, and of the four, I've enclosed photos of the one building in which they were 'very interested.' The building’s interiors seemed to be their priority.”

I'd also like to see Chicago used as Gotham, for continuity. I'm wondering if the city or Illinois for some reason hasn't made it as financially attractive to film there.
