One thing I know about Nolan is that he won't do something just to do it. If he feels a story will be told better in B&W then he will film it in B&W, but otherwise he will go with color.

Went in search for this over the weekend. I couldn't find it in any shops, so I've just ordered it from Amazon. Hopefully it's good :) .

Just saw Following for the first time last night. Keeping in mind that it's a very cheap film, and Chris' first, it is a very good film.

I just watched this for the first time just now. Seriously, Chris Nolan has done it again (well, technically he 'did it' for the first time). What a bloody good film. Loved the ending. I can't even begin to fathom this mans directing talents.

Yeah I just watched this again. It really is a marvelous film. It has some problems (continuity, mediocre acting), but that can hardly be helped with such a small budget and the way it was shot. The dialogue from this film is the best Nolan has written and the whole script is extremely well put together. Great film.

the actors themselves were not in fact, professional actors, so i wouldn't be too hard on the acting part ;)
